Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard finally with the consent of learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks following reliefs.

"(A) This Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to issue writ of mandamus directing respondent No.1Scrutiny Committee to decide tribe claim of petitioner within stipulated period.

(B) This Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to direct the respondent No.2 to forthwith promote petitioner in the next higher post without insisting for certificate of validity and subject to outcome of decision of Scrutiny Committee.

( 2 ) wp3043.14 (C) This Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to direct the respondent No.2 to forthwith promote petitioner in the next higher post without insisting for certificate of validity and subject to outcome of decision of Scrutiny Committee, pending hearing and final disposal of the instant petition."

Learned counsel for the Scrutiny Committeerespondent No.1 makes a statement on instructions that the claim of the petitioner is pending and would be finally disposed within four months from today. In view of this statement, purpose for this petition is almost over. The writ petition stands disposed of. The petitioner shall cooperate in the enquiry before the Committee.
