Mr. Shinde, the learned counsel submits that, the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee since 2011. However, the same is not being decided as yet.

Issue notice to respondents. Learned A. G. P. waives notice for respondents and submits that, in case, the validation proceedings are not yet decided then the respondent / Committee would decide the same on its own merits.

In case, the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Respondent No. 2 / Committee then the Respondent No. 2 / Committee shall decide the said proceedings in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within six (6) months. 4.
