Mr.D.B.Thoke, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been issued with validity certificates, however, after lapse of six months and on the said count, the collector has initiated disqualification proceedings against the petitioners.

We have heard the learned A.G.Ps. For respondent Nos. 1 to 4.

The disqualification proceedings are still

wp3925-3942-2017 pending before the Collector, Jalgaon. The petitioners may bring it to the notice of the Authority before whom the disqualification proceedings are pending, about the fact that the judgment delivered by the Full Bench of this Court in the case of Anant H. Ulahalkar and another Vs. Chief Election Commissioner and others, 2017 (1) Mh.L.J. 431, has been stayed by the Hon'ble the Apex Court vide order dated 13th February, 2017. Obviously, the Collector or the authority concerned is bound to consider the orders passed by the Hon'ble the Apex Court. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
