This application is filed seeking condonation of delay of 2301 days caused in filing the first appeal filed for enhancement of the compensation amount towards acquisition of the land of the claimants.

Learned AGP for the State vehemently opposed the application.

It is made clear that claimants shall not be entitled to receive interest on the amount for delayed period if it is enhanced by this court while disposing off the first appeal. 6.
