Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee. However, Respondent Nos.3

2 W.P.No.3644/17 and 4 are insisting for validity certificate, else they would not allow the petitioner to prosecute further studies.

The Committee has to decide the validation proceedings. The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within nine (9) months.

The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceedings. The Respondent Nos.3 and 4 shall not prevent the petitioner from prosecuting further studies and appearing for examination only on the count that validation proceedings are pending. The Respondent Nos.3 and 4 can take further course of action depending on the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in validation proceedings.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
