The grievance is about non payment of rental compensation.

The petitioner states that application for rental compensation is made to the Collector on 01/12/2016.

Learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 5 and submits that said application ought to have been filed before Spl. Land Acquisition Officer. 4.

The petitioner may file application with the competent authority. In case such application is filed, the competent authority shall decide the same on its own merit after hearing all parties concerned expeditiously and preferably within nine months from the date of this order. 5.

Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
