In terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the applicant-husband is now depositing Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) before this Court. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent-wife submits that the wife has already received Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) i.e. Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) in cash and Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) by Demand Draft. Thus, the respondent-wife has no objection, if the application is allowed in terms of

. The learned counsel submits that if this amount is deposited and paid to the respondent-wife then, both the parties would convert their pending divorce petition into a mutual divorce petition.

The learned counsel for the applicant-husband submits that in terms of the contents of the compromise, only after the parties withdraw the cases against each other, the amount deposited before this Court will be paid to the respondent-wife. 4.

In view of the above, the applicant is now permitted to deposit the said amount of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) before this Court. Office to accept the same.
