JUNE 09, 2025 ORDER :- The petitioner - Institute runs a residential school for differently-abled pupils. Initially, the petitioner was having sanctioned strength of 30 students. Subsequently, the Government increased the strength by 20 students. The petitioner is asking for sanction of additional teaching and non-teaching staff to cater the need of the increased students. A proposal in that regard is pending with respondent no.1.

The reply affidavit filed by respondent nos.1 and 3 shows that the inspection report of the District Social Welfare Officer, Zilla Parishad, Latur, dated 02.01.2025, is received by the Commissioner of Disabilities, Maharashtra State, Pune. The said report is forwarded by the Commissioner of Disabilities to respondent no.1 vide letter dated

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition may be disposed of by directing respondent no.1 to consider and decide the proposal forwarded to it.

In view of the above, respondent no.1 shall consider the the proposal forwarded to it for sanction of the additional staff and decide the same on its own merit, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. With these directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
