ORAL ORDER :

Mr. Kulkarni, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to Fakir - O.B.C. is pending with the Committee. The petitioner is already admitted in First Year B.A.M.S. Course. However, his examination form would not be accepted till the petitioner brings orders from the Court as per the communication made by the respondent No.3.

We have heard the learned A.G.P. for respondent Nos.1 to 3 and Mr. Bhosale, learned counsel for respondent No.4. 3.

The petitioner is already admitted in First Year B.A.M.S. Course. The proposal is also forwarded to the Committee seeking validation in respect of his caste claim. Considering the above, the respondents shall not refuse to accept the examination form from the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending. The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within one year from today. 4.

Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs. 5.
