The petitioner is objecting to the delimitation of wards and reservation of seats for the elections of Barhali village panchayat, scheduled to be held in the year 2015. On perusal of the objection applications tendered to the Collector and Election Officer on 05.02.2015, it transpires that grievance raised by the petitioner appears to be directed against the Gram Sevak who is stated to have conducted the job of delimitation of wards by remaining in the office and according to the petitioner, concerned Gram Sevak has not conducted ground survey. Except making allegations against the Gram Sevak, there is nothing in the objection applications tendered by the petitioner to the Collector or the Election Officer. The objection raised is too vague and as such, no direction need be issued to the authorities

It has been brought to our notice by the learned Counsel appearing for State Election Commission that the programme of elections has been declared yesterday. In this view of the matter, no interference is called for in the ongoing election process.

Writ Petition is devoid of substance and as such, stands dismissed.
