We have considered the submissions of the learned Senior Advocate on behalf of the Petitioner and the learned DSGI on behalf of Respondent Nos. 1 and 2. The Application of the Petitioner for 'grant in principle approval' to the Application-cum- proposal dated 20th April, 2023 for financial assistance under the scheme introduced by notification dated 19th July, 2018 and further notifications dated 14th January, 2021 22nd April, 2022 is pending before Respondent No.1. We are informed that the Application has been filed within time and the Environmental Clearance (EC), for the proposed project activity under the provisions of the EIA notification 2006, has been issued on 30th May, 2023 by the Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate 40.wp2988.24.odt

Change (Impact Assessment Division). The Petitioner has promptly forwarded it on the very next date to the concerned authorities. The said proceedings are pending.

The learned AGP submits that there is a particular procedure which has to be meticulously followed and thereafter, if the proposal is complete in all respects, an appropriate order would be passed. He prays for reasonable time.

By recording the said statement, this Writ Petition is disposed off. We expect the concerned authority to communicate its decision to the Petitioner on the e-mail address, on the day on which the decision is pronounced, within 60 days from today.
