It is the grievance of the petitioner that the appeal filed by him under Section 39(3) of Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, which needs to be decided within 30 days, is not decided within stipulated time. The appeal is filed in the month of February, 2022, and till date even notices are not issued to the respondents. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions makes a statement that since the assembly session is going on, after the session is over, the matter of the petitioner will be decided within one month thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of by accepting the statement of learned Assistant Government Pleader. Till the decision of appeal, status quo shall be maintained.
