Mr. Karad, learned counsel holding for Mr. Solanke, learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits before this Court that the petition is fled under an erroneous impression, and fling of this petition is an act of a bonafde mistake. A copy of the order dated 2/1/2020, passed in Writ Petition No.9710/2018 is placed on record, shows that, the act of non-compliance of the order of this Court was considered by this Court as a serious act and this Court, on its own, issued simple

Contempt Petition No.208/2020 (( 2 )) notice of contempt to the Joint Secretary of State of Maharashtra, V.J.N.T., O.B.C. & S.B.C. Department, making same returnable within four weeks from the date of order i.e. 2/1/2020. 2.

It is not in dispute that, Writ Petition No.9710/2018 itself is pending before this Court for consideration. As such, entertaining the present Contempt petition would be nothing but multiplicity of the proceedings. As such, we decline to entertain this petition.
