The grievance of the petitioners are that the matter is settled in Lok Adalat, but the compensation is not yet paid to the petitioners.

We have heard the learned Additional/Assistant Government Pleaders.

In case the matters are settled before the Lok Adalat and the settlement arrived at before the Lok Adalat are still in force and the same is not paid, then the respondents shall make payment to the petitioners as per the settlement in the Lok Adalat, preferably within a period of six months. 4.
