ORDER:

It is submitted that, the validation proceeding is pending since 2011. The petitioner has appeared for final year BDS examination. The result is withheld. The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents No. 1, 2 and 4. Ms S. M. Jadhav, learned counsel waives service of notice for respondent No. 3.

The Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within six months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 28.03.2018 and cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding. The respondents No. 2 and 3 shall not withhold the result of the petitioner's examination only on the ground that the validation proceeding is pending. In case the petitioner is otherwise eligible, he shall not be refrained from prosecuting the internship only on the ground that the validation proceeding is pending. However, the degree certificate shall not be issued unless the petitioner produces the validity certificate.
