PER COURT :- 1.

By this petition, the petitioners pray for leave to allow them to carry out the business of sale of beef and mutton (not the activity of slaughtering) in the same shops that were initially allotted to them by a resolution passed by the Village Panchayat, Adawad, Tq. Chopda, District Jalgaon in 2010.

Since, by the passage of about five years after the lodging of this petition, there is a possibility that the policies of the statutory authorities may have undergone a change, we deem it proper to dispose off this petition by granting leave to the petitioners to make a representation within two weeks to the appropriate authorities for considering an alternate place for sale of beef and mutton. akl/d

Shri Warma, learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that they would make an application to respondent Nos.2 and 3 within two weeks from today.

Considering the above, this petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioners to file an applications / representations to respondent Nos.2 and 3 within two weeks from today. After receipt of the said applications, the competent authority shall follow the due procedure and by considering it's Rules and policies, would decide the application on it's own merits within eight weeks.
