Rule. Mr. Kulkarni, learned Assistant Solicitor General waives notice for respondents No. 1 and 2.

Mr. Paranjape, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for renewal of certificate of practice as a Notary, however, the same was delayed by 50 days. For condonation of delay, the petitioner has filed application, as yet no decision has been taken on said application by the authority concerned. 3.

Mr. Kulkarni, learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for respondents submits that in case no decision has been taken on said application, it would be taken on its own merits and in accordance with

Considering the statement made by the petitioner that he has filed application for condonation of delay and as yet no decision has been taken on the same, we pass following order:- In case, application for condonation filed by the petitioner is pending with the respondent - authority, the authority concerned shall take decision on said application on its own merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all parties concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of writ of this order.
