The learned counsel for the petitioner states that, the Principal of the respondent No. 4/college has forwarded the proposal/application of the petitioner for getting Grade Pay as applicable to the petitioner (page 34) to the Director of Technical Education. However, no decision has been taken upon the same, though the same is submitted on 26.10.2013.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader states that, in case such proposal is received by the respondent No. 2 and if it is pending, then the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same on its own merits.

In the light of the above, we pass the following order. 4.

In case proposal (Page 34) dated 26.10.2013 is received by the respondent No. 2 and same is pending with the respondent No. 2, then the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (4) months from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
