This petition is preferred for issuance of directions to respondent - Caste Certificate issuing authority to grant request of petitioner for carrying out correction in the Caste Certificate. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner shall be surrendering his original caste certificate and in such an eventuality his claim for issuance of fresh caste certificate may be decided in accordance with law.

In view of above submissions, we permit petitioner to surrender his caste certificate and direct to file fresh application for grant of appropriate caste certificate, which prayer be decided by respondent authority in accordance with law.
