Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

The role attributed to the applicant as per the prosecution was that he was present with other co-accused and driving a car. The police seized the counterfeit currency note and currency note on the spot of the incident. Except the allegations of his presence on the spot, there is nothing against the applicant. In view of his peculiar role in the alleged crime, the Court is of the view that it would be inappropriate to keep him behind bar. Hence, the following order :

ORDER

(i) Bail Application is allowed.

(ii) The applicant, Sunil Narhari Jangwad, be released on bail on executing P.B. and S.B. of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with

47-ba-459-2023.odt (2) one solvent surety in the like amount in connection with Crime No.29 of 2023, registered with Aundha Nagnath Police Station, District Hingoli for the offence punishable under Section 420, 489-B, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, on the conditions that he shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.

(iii) The applicant shall attend the concerned police as and when called on written notice by the investigating officer, till filing the charge sheet.
