By this application, applicant/wife seeks permission to withdraw maintenance amount of Rs. 1,00,000/-, deposited by respondent/husband in this Court.

Heard the learned advocate for the wife and learned advocate for the husband. Perused the documents placed on record.

Learned advocate for the husband vehemently opposed the prayer of the wife for withdrawal of amount contending that subsequent to the passing of order impugned in Bhagyawant Punde

{2} 933-CA-3764-2023 the petition, it is transpired that the wife is working as a teacher in private school. Therefore, he states that she is not entitled to withdraw the amount.

For the reasons stated in the application and considering the fact that the amount is deposited towards maintenance of the wife, application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'.
