Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the tribe claim is pending with the Committee for validation. The notice has been issued to the petitioner of placing the petitioner on supernumerary post. The impugned order is without notice to the petitioner and without hearing the petitioner. Such an order cannot be sustained.

In light of that, the impugned order is quashed and set-aside. The Committee shall decide the

938 WP No 3932 of 2020.odt validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within six months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 26th March, 2020.

Writ petition accordingly disposed of. No costs.
