This petition can be disposed of by issuing direction to respondent no. 2 - Committee to take decision on the caste verification claim submitted by petitioner in the month of July 2014, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from today, in accordance with the provisions of law and, after extending an opportunity of hearing to petitioner and, it is accordingly directed.

By virtue of interim order passed by this Court on 31.03.2015, respondents 3 and 4 were directed to accept examination form of petitioner for first year Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course and, permit her to appear for the examination. Petitioner contends that she had appeared for the

wp3281.15.doc examination however, her result has not been declared by the health university. It is informed that 31st August, 2015, is the last date prescribed for acceptance of examination form for ensuing examination and, in case, she fails in the examination, she may have to re-appear for the examination.

In the circumstances, respondents 3 and 4 are directed to declare result of petitioner for first year Basic B.sc. Nursing Course examination forthwith and, if deemed necessary, permit her to appear for the next examination. Petitioner shall be permitted to prosecute her further studies subject to the decision of the Scrutiny Committee in respect of verification of her caste claim. Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. 5.

Pending civil application, if any, does not survive and stands disposed of.
