The present applicant who was arrested by Wadwani Police Station, District Beed in Crime No. I16/2016 registered for the offences punishable under section 20 (b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, is praying ro his release on bail. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant files the true copy of the order dated 11th March, 2016 passed by this Court in Criminal Application No. 1404/2016. The

criapln1607-2016 same is accepted on record and marked "X" for the purpose of identification. The said order would show that the co-accused against whom similar allegations are there is released on bail by this Court, finding that the ganja seized in the offence was 6 kgs and 300 grams i.e. not a commercial quantity.

In the circumstances, similar order is passed in the present application, as follows.

The criminal application is hereby allowed. The applicant be released on bail in Crime No. I-16/2016, registered with Wadwani Police Station, District Beed for the offence punishable under section 20 (b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) and also upon furnishing surety in the like amount.

The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not commit the similar offence.
