Perused the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal. Admittedly, the Chief Executive Officer had no power to transfer the original applicant from Mugat to WaiBazar. In that view of the matter, we do not see any reason to interfere in the impugned order of the M.A.T. However, it would be open for the petitioner to approach the competent authority for redressal of his grievance.

In the light of above, the Petition is rejected. However, ad-interim relief, which was in force during pendency of the Petition, shall continue for further two weeks from today. ( A.M. BADAR, J. ) ( S.S. SHINDE, J. ) ...
