Considering the several orders passed from 29.03.2022 onwards, today Mr.Rajaram Hiralal Zurawat, District Water Conservation Officer, Soil and Water Conservation Department, Jalna and Atul Chormare, Sub Divisional Officer cum Special Land Acquisition Officer, Bhokardan have tendered an unconditional apology vide affidavits dated 24.06.2022. Both are taken on record from page Nos. 51 to 58. 2.
The learned AGP submits on instructions from these 2 officers who have taken instructions from the Managing Director of Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Mr.S.P.Kushire, that the petitioners would be paid their entire compensation, on or before 15.10.2022 and would not seek an extension of even a single day. khs/June 2022/260

The learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been made to run from pillar to post and it has been years that they have not been paid their dues. If the statement is recorded, the petitioners would be satisfied. 4.
In view of the above, this contempt petition is disposed off by recording the said statement.

In the event, the said statement is not followed and the amounts are not paid on or before 15.10.2022, the present Secretary, Revenue and Forest Department, Mantralaya Mr.Vikas Kharge, the District Collector of Jalna Mr.Ravindra Laxman Binwade, Mr.Atul Chormare, SDO, Mr.Rajaram Hiralal Zurawat, the Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation and Mr.S.P.Kushire, Managing Director, Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation, Aurangabad and including those officers who are responsible to implement the above statement, will be held in aggravated contempt. In that situation, this Court would refuse to take on record an apology from any of the Officers and would deal with them under the Contempt of Courts Act.
