Heard. Notice to the Respondents. The learned A.G.P. waives notice for Respondent Nos.1, 2 and 3. Mr. Bhosale, learned counsel waives notice for Respondent No.4.

According to the learned counsel for the Petitioner, validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the Petitioner are pending since June 2015 and the Respondents are not accepting the examination form on the ground that validation proceedings are pending.

We have heard Mr. Bhosale, learned counsel for Respondent University and learned A.G.P. for remaining Respondents.

Considering the fact that validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the Petitioners are pending with Scrutiny Committee, we pass following order:

The Respondent No.3 - Scrutiny Committee shall decide validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the Petitioner expeditiously, preferably within ONE YEAR. The Petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of her caste
claims. The Petitioner shall appear before Respondent No.3 Scrutiny Committee on 11th April 2016.

In case the Petitioner is otherwise eligible, then the Respondent University and Respondent College shall not refuse to accept the examination form of the Petitioner and shall not refrain her from prosecuting the further studies only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
