Mr.Salunke, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has filed Election Petition before the trial Court and in the said petition, the first date after issuing notices, is given after three months. The learned Counsel submits that in fact, the Election Petition is required to be decided within six months.

Mr.Shelke, learned Counsel appears for respondent no.2.

The learned Judge of the trial Court shall decide the Election Petition filed by the present petitioner expeditiously, and as required under the statute, the same shall be decided within six months.

The parties may appear before the trial Court on 24.04.2017.

Present Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
