22-11-2021 PER COURT :- The present petition challenges order passed by the respondent PF authorities dated 05-11-2007 and the order passed by the PF Appellate Tribunal dated 15-10-2010. 2.

There are subsequent developments in the present matter. The petitioner has accepted its liability to pay an amount of Rs.65,33,633/- towards interest and damages of the provident fund dues. Out of the said amount, some amounts have been deposited by the petitioner. Today, this Court has permitted the PF authorities to withdraw an amount of Rs.25,00,000/- deposited by the petitioner. According to the petitioner, an amount of Rs.20,33,633/- is outstanding, which the petitioner is willing to pay by installments. The petitioner has filed applications to the

27-WP-3358-12.odt PF authorities on 17th August, 2021 and 8th September, 2021, requesting the PF authorities to permit the petitioner to pay the amount of Rs.20,33,633/- by way of installments. The said applications are pending.

Since the petitioner has accepted its liability to pay the aforesaid amount and as the petitioner has approached the PF authorities by way of above applications seeking installments, nothing survives in the petition. The petition is therefore disposed of with a direction to respondent PF authorities to take decision on the applications of the petitioner dated 17th August, 2021 and 8th September, 2021, on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from today.
