The petitioner contends that the respondents have made a false statement on oath while WP No.7969/2013 filed by the petitioner for consideration was rejected. It would be open for the petitioner to take appropriate measures in accordance with Law for redressal of his grievance.

With the aforesaid liberty, writ petition is disposed of. 3.

It would be open for the respondents/authorities to examine the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the policy framed by the State Government as well as in consonance with the decision of the Supreme Court in the matter of Jagpal Singh Vs.State of Punjab [2011(11) SCC 396].
