The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 332 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for one year and to pay fine of Rs.2,000/-, in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for one month. He also convicted for the offence punishable under Section 294 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for one month and to pay fine of Rs.500/-, in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for seven days.

The trial Court has already suspended substantive sentence of imprisonment. It will take time for the appeal to come up for hearing.

In the fitness of things, the execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended pending the appeal. The applicant be released on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with surety bond in the like amount.
