Learned A.G.P. submits that the proposal with regard to the advance increment pursuant to the recommendation of Hakim Committee has been forwarded to the Finance Department on 24.4.2017. In fact, in Writ Petition bearing No.6052/2014, under order dated 10.6.2015, we had directed the Respondents to take decision within nine (9) months. Much time has lapsed.

We do understand that it is a question of policy decision and it may take some time. However, considering much time has lapsed, the Respondents shall expedite the process and shall take further decision expeditiously.

The claim of the petitioner is not yet decided. In case after the policy decision is taken by the Respondents and if the petitioner is aggrieved, the petitioner will be at liberty to assail the same.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
