The grievance of the petitioner is that the Scrutiny Committee is not verifying the caste certificate of the petitioner on the ground that the name of the caste is incorrectly spelt in the caste certificate issued by the Sub Divisional Officer. The petitioner approached the Sub Divisional Officer for issuance of tribe certificate, the same is rejected on the ground that letter of the superior authority is not annexed.

The petitioner shall deposit the original tribe certificate received by him with incorrect spelling of the tribe to the Sub Divisional Officer. The Sub Divisional Officer, Osmanabad upon verification of the said caste certificate surrendered by the petitioner shall issue the tribe certificate to the petitioner with the correct spelling of the tribe preferably within 15 days from the submission of the original tribe certificate with incorrect spelling. 3.
