The allegation against the applicant is that he assaulted the informant and caused grievous hurt by biting. The learned APP has produced the medical certificate, which indicates that the informant sustained a grievous injury to the ear, with a portion of the ear being severed prior to hospitalization. The said injury corresponds with the allegations made in the FIR. The injury certificate describes the injury as grievous in nature. 2.

Considering the nature of the injury and the specific role attributed to the applicant, no case is made out for the grant of anticipatory bail. 3.
