The petitioner has put forth prayer clause "C" as under :- "C. By issuing writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the like nature, direct the respondent No.1 to appoint a special enquiry team comprising of Secretary level officers to conduct an enquiry, submit a report and after receipt of the report necessary action including initiation of criminal prosecution is required to be initiated against erring officers and for that purpose issue necessary orders."

Considering the contentions and pleadings, we find that the District Collector would consider the applications made to his Office khs/June 2022/5431

- 2 - dated 10.06.2020 and 04.10.2020, as set out in prayer clause "B". 3.

This petition is, therefore, disposed off. We expect respondent No.3 to consider the said representations by following a procedure as is laid down in Law and communicate his decision to the petitioner.
