The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, application U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act is filed and the same is pending since the year 2012. It is not yet decided. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3 and submits that, in case the said application is pending, the authority shall decided it on its own merits.

In case the petitioners have filed application U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and if same is pending with the

2 wp 4118.19 competent authority, then the competent authority shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, after hearing all parties concerned. The same shall be decided expeditiously. 4.

In the light of above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
