The petitioner No.1 seeks permission to terminate the pregnancy. The petitioner No.1 was referred to the Expert Committee at Government Medical College and Hospital at Aurangabd. The Expert Committee has examined the petitioner No.1 and submitted the report. Relevant part of the report reads thus : "13. Investigation done :

14. Additional findings and observations :- N.A.

15. Physical fitness for termination :- a) Yes.

b) No.

16. Recommendation by Medical Board for termination : Recommended

17. Recommended Medical termination of pregnancy with due maternal risk. Surgical intervention & blood transfusion may be required. The risk involved in the said procedure is explained to the patient & her relatives.

The Expert Committee has recommended the termination of pregnancy. The risk involved in the said procedure is explained to the petitioners.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are informed about the risk involved in termination of the pregnancy. The petitioner No.1 wants to proceed further with the termination of the pregnancy.

In the light of the report of the expert committee, petitioner No.1 is permitted to terminate the pregnancy at any Government recognized center.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
