The application is filed for condonation of delay. Heard learned counsel for the Applicant and learned A.G.P. Nobody turned up for acquiring body.

In view of the contents of the application and the submissions made, this Court holds that sufficient cause is shown. However, there will be question of making payment of interest on higher rate in respect of the period like 2149 days. In view of this circumstance learned counsel for the Applicant made a statement that the applicant has filed

-:(2):- 10054 an undertaking that he will not claim interest in respect of this period. This Court holds that the delay can be condoned.

In the result, the application is allowed. Delay is condoned subject to condition that the interest will not be payable on the compensation, if it is enhanced for the period of 2149 days.
