Before the learned advocate for the petitioners could open his oral submissions, we have perused the prayers put-forth below paragraph no.30. We called upon the learned AGP to respond to prayer clause (B) which reads as under:

"B.

By appropriate writ or directions, the respondent authorities be directed to decide the proposal/representation dated 20/01/2020 (Exhibit G) submitted by the petitioner union to the respondents, within a stipulated period of 8 weeks."

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the pending proposal may be considered by the competent authority of the respondents and may be decided within eight weeks. The learned AGP submits that a fresh proposal can be fled before the Chief Secretary, State of Maharashtra and the appropriate authority would deal with the same. The learned advocate for the petitioners is agreeable. 1/2

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that they would also mention the proposal for erecting a solar plant in the land of the defunct factory due to which the citizens at large would be benefted. 4.

As such, without dealing with the merits of this matter, the same is disposed of in the light of the statements recorded as above. 5.

If the petitioners fle a fresh representation/proposal setting out their purported arrears of salary/dues, in the ofce of the Chief Secretary, State of Maharashtra, the competent authority may decide the said proposal within four months from the date of receipt.
