The petitioners who possese 'Koli Mahadev' scheduled tribe certificates but in incorrect form have submitted applications to the respondent - competent authority under the Maharashtra Act No. XXIII of 2001 on 07.09.2024, 13.01.2025 and 11.12.2024, respectively, seeking caste certificates in form 'C'. In spite of reminders dated

2 WP / 3783 /2025+ 14.01.2025, 13.01.2025 and 14.01.2025, respectively, the respondents have not processed their applications.

The writ petitions are disposed of directing the petitioners to appear before the respondent on 28.03.2025, surrender their original caste certificates in incorrect form, whereupon the respondent shall issue them fresh caste certificates in form 'C' on or before 04.04.2025, after verification of genuineness of the earlier certificates.
