Perused the order passed by the Honourable Supreme Court and this Court granting bail to the similarly situated co-accused. The role attributed to the applicant is similar to the role attributed to the accused who have been granted bail. Hence, the applicant is entitled to parity. Hence, the following order :- A) Applications are allowed.
B) Applicant Ashok Kanhuji Meghdambar be released on bail, on furnishing PB and SB of Rs.50,000/-, with one solvent surety of the like amount, in
915-BA-478-23.odt (a) C.R.No.507 of 2018, registered with Nagar Taluka Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406, 408, 409, 120B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 3, 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors Act (for short, "MPID Act") (b) C.R.No.343 of 2017 registered with M.I.D.C. Police Station Ahmednagar, for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 408, 409 read with Section 34 of the IPC and Section 3 of MPID Act, (c) C.R.No.139 of 2017 registered with Rahata Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 408, 409, 420 read with Section 34 of the IPC and Section 3 of MPID Act, (d) C.R.No.32 of 2018 registered with Pathardi Police Station, District Ahmednagar, for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 409 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the MPID Act, on the conditions that, (i) He shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses. (ii) He shall attend the trial on each and every effective date.
(iii) He shall cooperate with the investigating officer, if required in future.
