Heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioners and the learned A.G.P. appearing for the Respondents/State. 2.

The grievance of the Petitioners is that, an application under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 is not being received by the Competent Authority. The Petitioners pray for a decision on the said application assailing a fraudulent revenue entry.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. If the Petitioners prefer an application under Section 247 of

3225.24wp (2) the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, the concerned Authority would consider the said application on it's own merits, unless there is any legal impediment and/or objection on the issue of limitation.
