The contempt petition is filed for non compliance of the Order dated 09.10.2013 in Writ Petition No.8144 of 2013 with connected matters, by which the following directions were issued. "3.

In this situation, without observing anything on merits, if respondent No.4 finds petitioners entitled to rental compensation for said period, it shall take necessary decision upon it, within 4 months from today. If petitioners are found entitled to any amount, on account of rental compensation, said amount shall be paid to petitioners within further period of 3 months. It is made clear that acceptance of amount by petitioners shall not prohibit the petitioners from challenging the correctness of the exercise undertaken.

With these observations we dispose of the petitions. No costs."

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner does not dispute that the concerned authority i.e. Respondent No. 4 has decided the issue of rental compensation and also paid the amount. He submits that, the amount of interest is not paid.

If we see the above said order, the Petitioner can very well agitate his grievance in respect of the interest before the appropriate forum. 4.
