Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding is pending with the Scrutiny Committee. The same is not yet decided. The petitioner is elected as a Member of the Gram Panchayat. The respondents would take adverse action against the petitioner.

Mr.Pulkundwar, learned A.G.P., on instructions submits that three times notices were given to the petitioner, but the petitioner did not appear before the Committee.

As far as prayer seeking protection from taking any coercive action against the petitioner as Member of the Gram Panchayat, we cannot grant such relief. Law takes its own course if the validation certificate is not submitted within statutory period. 4.

As per the submission of the learned A.G.P., the petitioner is responsible for delay in deciding the validation proceeding. 5.

The petitioner may appear before the Committee on 14th February, 2023 and shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
