The learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the communication dated 17.08.2021 issued by the Deputy Secretary, State of Maharashtra, the petitioner has already deposited the sum of Rs.5,00,000/- for seeking enhancement of intake capacity. The institution of the petitioner has been already inspected by the concerned authority and a recommendation is made to the State Government. The proposal is now pending before the State Government.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that 31.03.2022 is the last date for granting admission to the students and if any additional seats are allowed to the petitioner, the petitioner will 1/2

In view of this position, we direct the State Government to take appropriate decision on the proposal made by the petitioner for enhancement of additional seats within one week from today and shall communicate the order that would be passed on the same day to the petitioner.

Writ petition is disposed off in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
