The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant would not claim interest or statutory benefit for the delayed period. He submits that the applicant is the poor agriculturist whose land is acquired. He seeks condonation of delay in filing the cross-objection. 3.
For the reasons stated above, the delay of 3137 days in filing the cross-objection is condoned, subject to the condition that, in the
2 56 event, the applicant succeeds in the cross-objection, the applicant would not be entitled for the interest and statutory benefit for the delayed period of 3137 days.
