The petitioner is an Ambulance Driver engaged by respondent nos.1 to 4 through the respondent no.5-contractor and is soliciting orders similar to the one passed in several matters directing payment of salary @ lowest of the scale prescribed for the ambulance driver on the regular establishment, as in the matter of Navnath Bhaskar Dive and Anr. V/s. State of Maharashtra & Ors in Writ Petition No.1913/2024. 2.

Issue notice. The learned A.G.P. waives service for respondent nos.1 & 2. Mr. Pulkundwar waives service for respondent nos.3 & 4.

For the reasons recorded in Navnath Bhaskar Dive, the petition is allowed. The respondent nos.1 to 4 are directed to pay to the petitioner minimum of the pay scale at lowest grade in the regular pay scale payable to the Ambulance Driver on the regular establishment from the date of the petition.
