Appointment of the petitioner as a Member of Panchayat Samiti shall be deemed to be co-terminus with the term of elected body of Agricultural Produce Market Committee, in view of proviso to Section 15(1) of the Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 1963.

The petitioner cannot legally claim his entitlement to continue as a Member beyond the elective term of the Managing Committee of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee. The prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is not liable to be considered. 03.

Hence, the Petition is dismissed.
