This is an application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for quashing the proceedings in R.C.C. No.135 of 2015 in respect of Charge Sheet No.66 of 2015, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Shevgaon, in view of the First Information Report bearing Crime No.I-35 of 2014, registered at Shevgaon Police Station, District Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 435, 427, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1960 and Section 4/25 of the Arms Act.

APPLN.1064.2023.odt The applicant and respondent No.2 have compromised the matter and accordingly, informant Sandeep Dattu Dhotre has submitted an affidavit in support of it. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, it would be proper to quash the FIR in the interest of justice and to allow the application. In the result, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (B) on condition that the applicant shall deposit an amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) as costs with the NAAM foundation within 7 days and submit its report to this Court in compliance thereof.
