ORAL ORDER :

This is an application seeking permission to appoint on ad-hoc basis four Cardiologists. It is submitted that there are two sanctioned posts of Cardiologists and the departmental enquiry is in progress against two Cardiologists and at present they are suspended. Number of patients in the hospital run by the applicant is large. Considering the above, the applicant is permitted to appoint Four Cardiologists on ad-hoc basis if

C.A. No.3937/2015 permissible in law. The applicant shall follow the service rules while appointing the Cardiologists on ad-hoc basis. The applicant shall seek sanction for additional post of Cardiologist from the Government. It is made clear that candidates appointed on adhoc basis should be informed at time of appointment that their appointment is on ad-hoc basis as a temporary measure and that they will not be entitled to claim permanency and regularisation, so also that their appointment is not on sanctioned post. Civil Application stands disposed of.
